Over several years I have often visited the many local friends who have moved to Abbeyfield in Maitlane Road Reading when they have decided it is too difficult to live on their own. The place is warm and welcoming and the care with which staff treat their charges has always been excellent, in my experience. When my time comes this is a place which I would be happy to move to, knowing that the ethos of loving care is all one could wish for.
