WADE Day Centre

Over the past year, our volunteer entertainment group has had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful day care centre regularly, and it has become a place we always look forward to returning to. From the moment you walk in, there’s a real sense of warmth, friendship and belonging. It feels much more like a welcoming community than simply a day care centre.
The relationships between the staff, visitors and volunteers are built on kindness, trust and genuine respect. A special thank you to the Activities Coordinator, whose enthusiasm, organisation and ongoing support have made it a pleasure to work together. Their commitment to creating enjoyable, meaningful experiences is evident in everything they do. It’s inspiring to see how much happiness and companionship this centre brings to older adults, helping everyone feel valued, connected and at home. A truly special place with an amazing team.

Attended an event to celebrate and remember D Day activities …. 80 years ago!! Excellent venue; amazing catering and entertainment. Thank you Wokingham In Need for such a fabulous afternoon. Great venue!!

Day centre for the elderly. Friendly and caring. This day centre has been amazing. My 97 year old mother in law now goes every weekday. She is kept safe and active and is very happy. Loads of different activities or just a sit and chat, play cards, board games, sing a longs or listen to favourite music from years gone by. Staff are amazing!
