James’ Place is a welcoming and inclusive place with fabulous caring staff.
With individual characteristic buildings in countryside settings, it’s great now that they are opening in West Reading (RG8).
Our son really enjoys coming here, interacting with the other fellow members and getting involved with lots of daily activities. Life skills with trips out and about in the community and further afield are plentyful.
As parents we feel totally comfortable in the knowledge that our son is safe and looked after there by people who care.
We would totally recommend James’ Place.

The team at James Place is incredibly friendly, warm, accommodating, and consistently treats their members with kindness, dignity, and respect. It’s clear they know the people they support extremely well.
A quick look at their Facebook page shows just how dedicated they are! The team are always creating fun, meaningful, and engaging ways for their members to connect, enjoy themselves, and take part in the local community. They once created a scarecrow for our annual Scarecrow Festival and won 1st place! They have also delivered flowers and homemade cookies as a ‘random act of kindess’, which was very much appreciated by everyone.
We look forward to future plans with James Place!
