This was a pleasant and unexpected surprise, amazing Sunday roast, great dessert (of course I have only taken a photo of it), friendly staff, and then I give another mega plus for the fact that dogs are allowed inside 🙏🙏 Thank you for this lovely experience 👍

An unforgettable celebration for our pups’ 2nd birthday! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We visited The Highwayman on Sunday the 16th August to celebrate our doggies Rosey and Rudy’s 2nd birthday, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish.
The staff were incredibly attentive, welcoming, and accommodating. We ordered the “Bark Burgers”, “Paw-star Martinis”, Roast Chicken dinner, which was all fantastic. When one of the dinner options was sold out, the wonderful Sam went completely above and beyond—she brought out a plate of roast beef topped with two candles especially for Rosey and Rudy. They devoured every bite, and it made the celebration feel so genuinely special. Sam’s hospitality and warmth were second to none!
The atmosphere is cosy, vibrant, and has a true family feel. The dog-friendly seating area was comfortable, spacious enough for us to set up decorations and take lovely photos and videos, and our pups had a wonderful time socialising with the other dogs. I also caught a glimpse of the main restaurant area, which looked stunning.
Superb food, great drinks, and outstanding dog-friendly hospitality. We cannot recommend The Highwayman enough and will definitely be returning!

I came here for food with my father and we loved it. Staff were very attentive and the food was excellent, plus there is air con! I had the chicken ballotine and it is up there with one of the best dishes I have had out at a restaurant. The cheese and pistachio soufflés are also amazing! We will definitely be back!

We had a family event here in the room
At the back. Everything was impeccable. The food was excellent, the service was fantastic. There was great ambience. Just a lovely place. We will go again and thoroughly recommend it.
