Great price, knowledgeable service, fantastic selection from basic to designer, really quick turnaround, local independent store. If you want internet prices but with someone to actually advise you and fit your glasses I cannot recommend spectacle and sunglasses store more highly!

Excellent Service and Price.
I purchased 2 pairs of glasses. A Reading pair with anti-glare and distance pair with reactive lenses. Both were ready bang on time and I have been extremely pleased with the quality, which was at a price less than half of what I had been quoted by a leading High Street brand.
The shop was also very dog friendly, which meant popping in to collect my glasses with my dog was an absolute pleasure.

I was Recommended to this Opticians by a College, 4 years ago. I have subsequently purchased several pairs of Glasses & had my Annual Eye Checks Done at their Establishment. Other Members of my Family & Friends have now also been using their Services. Paul & His Lovely Wife are not only Professional, Enthusiastic, Friendly but offer a Bespoke Service that the Big High Street Players such as Boots & Spec Savers aren’t in the same Frame, Pardon the Pun.

I knew Paul many years ago, when I worked in Opthalmics’ and was extremely pleased to find him again and his Business locally!
Paul and Lynn are both very knowledgeable and helpful. One (of many) examples was last week I popped in for new Readers. Not only did Lynn help with my choice (very grateful), but Paul fitted the new lenses with only minutes to spare before a Customer was due for an eye exam! I said that the spectacles could wait until next week, but he reassured me that it really was not an issue and my new spectacles would be ready soon.
I went for a wander outside, happy to be in the sunshine and before I knew it Paul came out to say my spectacles were ready!
You do not get this highly personal and professional service from a high street, or anywhere else!

I phoned, stated I had my prescription and told them what I wanted.
I booked a time to meet the owner.
He was very helpful and I looked at the frames they had but I really wanted to reuse my existing frames.
That was no trouble at all, he could do that and I saved over £150 on the quote I had from a local opticians.
Buy one get one free doesn’t add up when you look at it properly.
I had my anti glare put on and the colour changes in the sun!
All this took just a week to be done, you keep your glasses for the time being and on fitting day you just wait 10-20 mins while the lenses are changed.
Perfect.
And the new prescription for my reading glasses he did while I waited on my first visit.
Next time I can get my eyes tested there too.
Cannot fault this business at all.
