Extremely unhelpful… I filled in their online application for help with Wills and LPA. They rang back but I was unable to pick up as in a meeting. They left no message and when I rang them I was first told they couldn’t put me through to anyone because I didn’t have a name. After some persuasion I was put through to Wills department. The person who answered was an office junior who knew nothing was unable to find who had rung me and then said he would try find out and ring me back.Needless to say no one has rung back. If this is their highest service level then you would be foolish to use them. Seemingly picking up a phone asking to speak to some one is not possible.

Diabolical service.
Simple transactions and processes drawn out only to the detriment of the client and parties on the other side of the transaction. No Scruples. They get paid whatever and they use this to treat anyone they deal with as third rate citizens.

I know that divorces are major upheavals in the lives of those concerned, but Kathryn Ainsworth and her team at Machins LLP were tremendous. Admittedly, there were few sources of potential friction with my soon-to-be ex-wife, but even so the advice I received was reliably excellent, and the process was kept moving forward at the fastest tempo possible. Costs were totally reasonable. The Machins team was also very personable and I appreciate their ‘Let’s make this as painless as possible for everyone’ approach. Five stars!
