Neuro Connect
I work as a community neuro physiotherapist with client looked after by Ashridge Home Care live in staff. I wanted to write this review as in the 24 years I have worked as a physio I have never come across a team of dedicated, professional, kind and hard working carers. The carers work incredibly hard to ensure that the client is enabled to lead a busy and happy life. The client has complex physical and cognitive needs and is not able to speak, but the carers have an intuitive gauge of what her needs are and they are always met to the highest standard. The client is always treated with the utmost dignity and respect. I always have confidence that any physio recommendations given will always be followed. I would whole heartedly recommend Ashridge Home Care to other clients that I work with.

My experience with Ashridge is far from good.
While they say they go the extra mile to ensure the carers are looked after that was not the case for me.
Was sent to an assignment Where I was meant to work nights instead of days as it was initially agreed without possibility to rest in between shifts.
Initially was told during training we not to give our personal phone number to client but was told I have to give me number to the client which is highly unprofessional.
After 2 days I decided it was not safe for me to provide care in this conditions as I couldn’t rest.
The communication with the manager was very poor she wouldn’t follow up on issues regarding recording keeping as the app wouldn’t work and nothing was done.
Is sad that employees are asked for references while the company get to treat staff as they please. No other assignment was offered afterwards.note to carers think twice before choosing this company.this is solely based on my own personal experience. The professionalism felt off since the beginning as I registered in January and was told there will be no work till March and then they offered this assignment and behaved highly unprofessional.

All the staff at Ashridge go above and beyond to ensure the team that works there is well looked after so they in turn can care for clients to their very best ability. The training is superb, all care is personalised and they truly listen to what matters most to their clients. All visiting care is at least an hour long so the carers really get to spend quality time with their clients and the live-in carers support the whole family and their pets to ensure everyone is happy.
