A lovely 3 night stay at the Embankment. Very comfortable, nice rooms, excellent location and food! Great breakfasts and service by all staff. Particularly by Atu. All very attentive.

We arrived early before check-in, and had to get ready very quickly for a concert. Luke was so welcoming and allowed us to get ready in a separate room, and held our luggage while we left, and even had it moved into our room for when we arrived again later in the evening. The service was excellent, and the staff were so welcoming. Thank you for such a great stay!

Stayed there for the weekend. The rooms could do with some renovation in my opinion. Good breakfast. And it’s great to have a pub / restaurant at your door step 😀

I had 60 family and friends celebrate a christening here and was blown away! They were very communicative – Annalisa was our point of contact when planning and no question was too small. She responded super quickly and was so helpful.
On the day food was plentiful and delicious and we were very well looked after! The server in charge introduced himself and was wonderful the whole day – very responsive when asked for more water ect. I couldn’t recommend enough

Had a fantastic Mother’s Day meal at The Embankment. There were 10 of us, which can sometimes be a challenge for any restaurant, but everything ran smoothly even though the place was packed.
The starters and mains were excellent across the table. I had the shepherd’s pie, which was absolutely outstanding — proper comfort food and packed with flavour.
The service was friendly, efficient and well organised, which isn’t easy on one of the busiest days of the year.
Great to see the restaurant buzzing and also nice to catch up with Tom, who’s doing a brilliant job as General Manager.
If you haven’t been yet, get yourself booked in — clearly we’re not the only ones who think it’s worth a visit.
