Prior to our mum moving we visited a number of care homes but when we were shown around Bushmead we immediately liked the feel of the place and were impressed with the staff and the facilities. The home was spotless.
Mum had advanced dementia, during her time at Bushmead she was very well cared for, staff were patient, compassionate and were skilled in supporting people with dementia.
Her care was very person centred and despite moving during COVID where there were still some restrictions on visiting, we were able to see our mum regularly which made such a difference.
We cannot thank everyone enough at Bushmead for looking after our mum so well.
