I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing independent living at Gordon Colling House, and it’s truly a hidden gem in our community. The scheme offers a safe, welcoming environment that gives residents both comfort and freedom—but what truly makes this place shine is the incredible scheme manager.
She’s the heart of the building: genuinely kind, thoughtful, and always ready to help with any issue, big or small. Whether it’s sorting out maintenance concerns, lending a listening ear, or offering reassuring advice, she approaches everything with compassion and a can-do attitude. You never feel like just another resident—she makes you feel valued and supported.
It’s rare to find someone so devoted to making others’ lives easier, and her presence turns Gordon Colling House from simply a place to live into a real home. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for independent living with a personal touch.

It’s a good place to live if you are Disabled like myself.You can choose how much care you require on a day to day basis. It also carses for the elderly people who need a little bit of help from time to time. You get all the independence you need & the care is there if needed.It is run by.
