I had an eye test on Thursday 6th August for both glasses and contact lenses. The test was very thorough and informative and the staff were very polite and helpful. There is no pushy sales speak for new glass frames you are left alone to choose at your own leisure. All in all l found the experience very good.

I would like to share my appreciation for the team at Vision Express Bedford, especially Ilona and Kasia.
I have a complex eye prescription involving both focal adjustments and spherical correction, which has meant I’ve needed frequent visits to have my glasses checked and adjusted. Even though I came in very often, they were always patient, professional, and willing to take the time to help me properly.
Ilona and Kasia consistently provided outstanding service. They answered calls promptly, treated me with kindness and respect, and made sure my glasses were fixed as well as possible every single time. They also gave honest and helpful advice, including suggesting when it would be better to change frames rather than continue adjusting the same pair.
As someone who is neurodivergent and lives with ADHD and autism, I can find these situations quite challenging. Their understanding, calm approach, and willingness to listen to my concerns made a huge difference. I always felt supported and taken seriously, which is incredibly important to me as a vulnerable adult.
Their level of care and dedication truly stands out, and they are a real credit to Vision Express. I’m very grateful for all their help.
