For one the welfare office sent me to coastline on purchase street . Needless to say they haven’t been there for 2 years. They are now located on Bellevue Ave . The coastline office was very nice , clean and very quiet . It didn’t seem to be very busy .

Coastline is a good example of what you get when public funding supports a local nonprofit with a clearly defined mission.
The people at Coastline are dedicated to the mission of helping senior citizens and some younger disabled people get the help they need to navigate an array of services, which can be daunting to someone who needs help but doesn’t know what’s available or how to apply.
They also run the local Meals on Wheels program, helping to ensure that seniors get at least one nutritious hot meal every day. They operate various other programs that help people stay active and socialize with other seniors.
It’s a good organization that has been instrumental in making the process of getting older a lot easier.

Almost completely useless. I’m trapped in a respite in New Scumford, and my time here is almost over. I keep asking them for help finding an IMGLE, but I seem to be on my own. They did provide me with a CNA, and that was a big help. However, I don’t know what good the CNA will do when I’m living under a bridge.

My dads case manager is with Rita. Rita is very passionate about her job she is a great listener. She makes sure if you need anything she will help you navigate to get answers. Shes very knowlegable about her job. But she goes beyond her duties she asks about me the caregiver. Shes very caring about my dads needs and my own. She helps me with information about dementia and what i should expect. I find that when i talk to her about my struggles with my dad she understands because shes been there due to her dad and to me that makes a huge difference. To me shes more than a case manager shes a caring individual who passionately loves to help people. That’s no longer just a job but a human kindness she gives out. I thank her for that

If you need something done considering the elderly, this is the first place to call! Their employees usually know how to get a job done. They are also very pleasant to speak to.
