Twyfords Cafe

Absolutely would recommend, we had lunch at this beautiful cafe, we used the garden as we had our dog with us. The staff were really friendly, helpful and courteous. I have an allergy to gluten and I have never been in an establishment where there is such a good selection of food for me or anyone else. I wasn’t made to feel any different to anyone else and the prices didn’t change because of my allergy.
I would like to thank all the staff for a pleasant afternoon.

First time visiting Twyfords, the location looks great and we had a nice seat looking outside. There is also a secret garden that looked lovely.

Ordered a light breakfast and caramel oat latte. No faults with the coffee, unfortunately my breakfast was very hit and miss. The bacon and sausage had great flavour and were both delicious, the toast was also very nice. I opted for scrambled egg which did look appealing however had an odd texture and sour taste and my hash brown was positioned on plate in such a way that it was mostly soggy. Also, there are no beans included in the light breakfast for £14.50, which I definitely missed.

Overall I dont feel the value is present with this breakfast and I would be unlikely to return again.

First time walking around Beccles with my wife for valentine’s day, we were just looking for a place to have a coffee and a bite, we were pleasantly surprised to have stopped here after being captivated by the cozy atmosphere and mouth-watering menu.

Wonderful place, very polite and friendly staff, great coffee and the hot chocolate tastes like it came straight from heaven!

Food was marvelous, more than adequate portions, had the Wagyu burger with the cheese and bacon add-ins myself which was deliciously juicy, I’ve personally never cared for Wagyu meat but this burger definitely had all I could ask for in a burger. My wife had the ham and cheese toastie which was really tasty, salads were wonderful and skin-on fries were perfect.

My wife had the “Very berry” smoothie which was just brilliant, I had the cranberry and pomegranate soda which I immediately thought was the best Italian soda I’ve tasted so far.

I couldn’t pick between banana and chocolate for the milkshake but to my delight, they was happy to do both. I had really high expectations for a chocolate and banana milkshake and was still blown away by it.

I can’t say the food is cheap, but definitely worth it for what you get and the drinks are pretty cheap which offsets it nicely, it is a cafe after all but beats many restaurants food-wise and the wait times weren’t bad either considering how busy it was.

Definitely do not miss this place if you come to Beccles, we will surely be coming again in the future!
