Visited here yesterday and was met by two lovely ladies who told me lots about the history of the Beccles. Museum is free (but donations appreciated because its run by volunteers), so well worth a visit if you’re in the area. Some really interesting local history and exhibitions too.

A local museum is rarely going to be the highlight of a holiday but this is pretty reasonable and free, donations welcome. The garden has impressive topiary.

Beccles & District Museum is located at Leman House, Ballygate, Beccles, NR34 9ND. The museum is now closed for winter season. It will be re-opened on the 1st of April 2023.
