Home Instead have been brilliant over the last 10 years plus that we have been using them for my parents. The managers have been exceptional helping us keep mum at home and adapting to her differing needs over the years. They ensure carers are fully trained and introduced before they are allowed to care for each individual and ensure they meet there needs and have a good rapport. This is essential when dealing with my mum who has mobility and anxiety needs. We have lost my father now but he had his own carers separate to mums and trained for his individual needs. The carers really care, it is not just a job for them and you see this is the interaction with my mum, they also spend the time needed, it is not a rush in and out. The office staff are also very good and polite and ready to help whenever you call. You are always kept up to date and regular reviews are completed with family, carers and parents. No carers are cheap but home instead are exceptional value for money and I would recommend them 100%
