Fantastic time today at the Basingstoke boots opticians store.
Prompt service as soon as I reached the front desk; ushered through to the waiting room where I only sat for a few minutes before being taken through pre screening, which was very smooth and explained thoroughly.
Eye test itself was clear, well completed and informed. Mera was very lovely and professional, guiding me through each step of the exam with clear reasonings and knowledge.
I was shown the glasses area by Magda, the store manager, who helped find me frames which suited me and went with my existing style. She gave honest opinions which I appreciate very much.
Emily put through the order when I chose my frame and gave me options of lenses according to my needs and previous choices. She was polite and very helpful, along with being very methodical with her measurements.
Can’t wait to pick up my new glasses when they arrive, thank you very much.

Bexy who served me was very professional, helpful and friendly. She thoroughly assessed my needs and took precise measurement ms to ensure a tailored fit. She was very honest when I tried in certain glasses about what suited me and what didn’t! Which I greatly appreciated. She also helped me make a final decision on lenses which was really helpful. The staff member was polite, friendly, professional. She was clear with every info given. Asked me to try on my new glasses to see how it felt. If I could see well which I could feel instant improvement in my eyesight. They adjusted the frame to fit my face and signed the necessary forms which took less than 20mins. I am very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend your services to friends and family. Would be coming back to buy more glasses in the future.

Fantastic service at Boots Opticians in Basingstoke on 18 April 26.
Appointment was on time. Initial checks were very competently handled by a new member of staff in training, who was thorough and courteous (sorry I don’t remember your name).
Regular eye test with Mera – very kind, professional, thorough and patient in answering all my questions and laying out options. Appointment wasn’t rushed at all and everything clearly explained.
Amethyst then helped me pick out new glasses – she encouraged me to try different styles that suited me, understood my needs (including budget) and was again very patient with me and helped me make final decisions on glasses that would work best for me. She was very personable, knowledgeable, approachable and professional – literally a jewel in Boots Opticians Basingstoke’s crown!

I visited the Boots Opticians on Saturday and had an amazing experience thanks to the incredible team, especially Mandy, the optician, and Magda from sales.
Mandy performed all the necessary tests and scans with professionalism and care. She thoroughly explained my condition, as I have a retiring stye, and guided me through understanding what was happening with my eye. Her knowledge made me feel at ease, and I left with a clear plan for how to look after it effectively.
Magda was also incredibly helpful, providing me with advice on cleaning and moisturizing my eye. The products she recommended have made a noticeable difference in just two days – I’ve already seen a significant improvement in my puffy eye, and I’m tolerating everything really well!
