The Old Mill is the PERFECT wedding venue! We stumbled across The Old Mill the day before they hosted a wedding fair event (I think it was Spring 2025?) and decided to go. We immediately fell in love with the venue (the variety of spaces for all weather, the flowing water, the mix of traditional and modern buildings, the functioning mill, the new addition of the bifold doors, the list goes on and on and on).
But we also fell in love with the staff. Esther was the first person we met, and she ended up coordinating our wedding. We felt endlessly supported by her in the build-up to, on the day and afterwards. All of our bridal party and family have been singing her praises, and we were so relieved to have her guidance on the day.
The recommended suppliers made our decision making so much easier! We found our cake and mini golf through them and also opted for The Wed Shed and DJ Edd Arlott because – obviously!
The regular wedding fairs and open door policy meant we could visit the venue plenty of times in the planning stage and really flesh out our vision. I feel so connected to this venue and cannot speak more highly of our experience from beginning to end. I hope our friends choose to get married there so we can go back as guests!

We had our wedding at The Old Mill in April, and it couldn’t have gone better. A beautiful venue run by thoughtful and professional people. The team there made everything easy for us, and went above and beyond to make the day extra special.
The Venue: Within minutes of getting there we knew The Old Mill was the perfect place for our wedding day. The location is simply stunning, it’s a simple but beautiful venue which frankly didn’t need much decorating or flowers compared to many other weddings venues. There’s plenty of space for larger weddings, but would still feel intimate with fewer guests. There’s lots of nature around the venue and the recent renovations doing wonders. Our photographers made the most of it: capturing us during golden hour with the woodland backdrop made for the most perfect photos.
The Planning: Lauren took lead on helping plan our big day and was incredible throughout the process, keeping in touch with us over the months and checking in. She’d thought of every small detail we might’ve overlooked, and helped us keep on schedule with booking our suppliers. The Old Mill uses Sonas for planning software which was also a great help in making it all less stressful.
The Big Day: Lauren and the team were on hand throughout the day to help out and make sure everything went smoothly. The staff at The Old Mill are very professional whilst warm and friendly with guests, helping to keep things running seemingly effortlessly with a smile. Everyone went above and beyond, even allowing us to keep things in locked storage at the venue overnight.
If we could do it again, we would!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue The Old Mill is truly magical with a beautiful setting and such a warm welcoming atmosphere.
Tilly our wedding coordinator was incredible keeping everything running smoothly and making us feel completely at ease throughout the day.
Edd, our MC/ DJ, absolutely nailed the vibe of the whole day! The dance floor was never empty and he read the room perfectly, keeping the energy high all day/night. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had!
Evie was amazing bringing our décor ideas to life and making everything look even better than we imagined.
The staff were outstanding so friendly attentive and professional making sure everyone felt looked after.

BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER. We got married at the old mill in March and had the most incredible day, from booking the venue to the planning and then the support on the day was unbelievable. Esther was our wedding day coordinator and nothing was too much, a calming presence, support and everything ran like clock work. You can really tell the effort and joy the mill team put in to each wedding and it genuinely feels like they take the time to get to know you and give you that personal touch to add to your special day. It really feels like you become part of the family when booking the old mill. With the stunning views and incredible love and support from the team I couldn’t think of anywhere better to have had our wedding day!

Getting married at The Old Mill was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was something special. It is full of character, charm, and natural beauty. It offered the perfect mix of rustic elegance and timeless romance, and it gave our wedding the most magical atmosphere we could have hoped for.
The venue itself is stunning. It is beautifully maintained, with gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces that flowed seamlessly throughout the day. Whether it was the idyllic setting by the water, the warm and welcoming interior, or the dreamy photo backdrops around every corner, every inch of The Old Mill felt picture-perfect.
But what truly sets this venue apart is the team behind it. The staff, especially Lauren and Edd, were nothing short of incredible — so helpful, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. They thought of everything, worked seamlessly with our suppliers, and made us feel completely relaxed from start to finish.
So many of our guests told us how impressed they were with the venue and we couldn’t agree more. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s full of soul, natural beauty, and impeccable service, The Old Mill is an absolute gem. We’re so grateful we found it and we’ll be singing its praises for years to come!
