A little gem in the heart of Basingstoke. Such pleasant views of the lakes along the walking/cycling path.
Little paddling pool by the cedars and a very decent playground!

Less than 10 min walk from the main shopping centre in Basingstoke. Nice playground for kids and plenty of space for a picnic around the two large ponds. Toilets were closed when I visited (hence only 4 stars) but I think this was a temporary closure as they have been open on past visits

I’ve lived in Basingstoke for 6 years and this was my first visit. A lovely place right in the centre of the town for a lunchtime walk. There’s one lake with geese, swans and ducks, a boating lake also with many ducks and at least one big fish and a paddling pool for little children which is probably lovely on warmer days. There’s also a nice little play area for children.

Amazing park next to city centre with two good sized ponds and a smaller shallow paddle pond for kids. Nice for walk around the ponds and you can also walk towards Festival place which is just 10 min away for quick bite and shopping. Information regarding boat time/availability wasn’t correctly updated on the site. It also has two good sized parking areas but may get busy on a sunny weekend so plan accordingly.
