Very friendly top marks for chef Hiro, very accommodating and pleasant, his meals are to die for. Bar staff very friendly, nice pub altogether. Highly recommended

I got to say how I feel about this pub and the staff are really friendly and nice since I have anxiety it makes it hard but everyone is so nice there. but lately the new female manager there is just awful soon as she works it’s like she targets us and has ago at us for having fun, but any other stuff I get along with just fine. I can have a laugh with them and joke but with the manager she is just up tight don’t know if anyone else has this issue but she is quite rude and I feel like she discriminate me.

A fantastic pub with great atmosphere and solid food—but what truly sets it apart is the incredibly kind and talented chef. He’s not only passionate about cooking, but also happy to prepare dishes that aren’t even on the menu. He made a Chinese curry for us that was far better than anything I’ve had at actual Chinese restaurants. Such hospitality and skill are rare—thank you!

Very friendly pub. Food excellent, have had breakfast here which was very good, and was piping hot. Have also had lunch here consisting of cheese and beans jacket potato and side salad, and again the food was piping hot and excellent. Mondays to Fridays they do an OAP’s special of 25%off so even better. Is worth a visit.
