I have been an “Everyone Active” member for over 15 years and have made hundreds of bookings for football and other sports activities; however, they have finally pushed us to our limit, and we will not be coming here anymore. While most of the staff are good, a female employee named a…. s…. has been rude towards us for nearly two years. Alone over a year, she refused to let us enter or exit through the main entrance, forcing us to use the side door outside instead, and repeatedly prevented us from using the restrooms and main hall way, Message was clear ” we don’t want you guys here ” but stupidly we thought this is just temporary issue with just one member,we should stop coming here while ago. We had complained to customer service about this a while back and thought her attitude toward us had improved, but we were mistaken. Today, she tried to keep us from entering until the very last minute before our match time, causing us to start late; on top of that, at 8:42 PM, she sent another staff member to cut our game short. When three or four of my friends complained, she accused them of lying and made various false allegations against us including we been rude to her ! , deliberately she tried to provoke us.. We left after stating that we would file formal complaints with their headquarters and the Basildon Council. They have finally succeeded in driving us away; we will definitely not use this facility again, and tomorrow we will lodge our complaints with all the appropriate authorities.All we done was book football pitches and playfootball, we never had issues for years ,now finally they managed us to not use this centre anymore 👏👏

The gym here is atrocious. I joined because it’s only a 10-minute walk from my house, but I had no idea what state the place was in. Many of the machines with adjustable cable weights are jammed. There’s only one pair of dumbbells for all weights, so you either wait ages or can’t use them at all.
The etiquette here is almost disgraceful. I’ve rarely seen anyone rerack their weights. There’s no designated weight rack, so people just take the plates off your machine’s rack. The toilet doesn’t have any handwash. I’ve flagged this to the reception desk, and I’ve seen others do the same. They just say they’ll look into it, but nobody cares. There’s no maintenance whatsoever.
This is one of the worst gyms I’ve ever been to.

Swimming pool was good. Clean and warm. Staff are helpful. Very busy centre, they need more parking spaces. I drove around for ages before I could get a space.

Place where you can find swimming, a gym, football grounds, and a nearby children’s play area. Also a good place for a picnic. Smaller than Basildon Sporting Village. No learners’ pool here for younger children who have just started learning swimming.

Taking my granddaughter for swimming lessons here, the staff on reception are cheerful and friendly , the space is spotless, the changing rooms are bright and airy and proper powerful hair dryers post swim.
The pool is very well organised and the swim instructor, Megan is firm but the kids love her.
All in all a very good experience
