I have been very honoured to be able to have Baroness Lister of Burtersett on my my podcast You Care, I Care, discussing the issues around child poverty and the issues faced by families today.
Having written and worked on many books and articles about poverty, social security and women's citizenship, it was absolutely fascinating and a real learning curve for me to be able to discuss so many issues that are often brushed under the carpet.
There was much more we could have and hopefully will discuss further in the future but it is really a very interesting discussion with Ruth which did at times cover some controversial issues
