I witnessed a care experience with personal choice carers and a client. They had taken a client in a wheelchair to a supermarket. For the entire shop, the lone carer was extremely calm, patient and friendly for her client – even though she was having to push a wheelchair and pull a trolley. It is 29 degrees on the day this happened.
Things like this give those in need of help so much dignity and add to their quality of life hugely. The care company had this well orchestrated, and the client and carer had another carer and vehicle waiting to pick them up immediately with the shopping.
Thank you personal choice ladies for giving this client a shopping trip today, that will have given them so much positivity and empowerment. Well done for all your efforts!
