My brother wanted a direct funeral so arranged the funeral himself. Once he died I found that there was no contact with myself to let me know that he had been collected from the Hospice, to let me know that I needed to go through the paperwork, let me know when the cremation would be, etc. I had to keep calling them and they were not helpful at all. The only time they contacted me was an e mail to say he had been cremated on the day that had been arranged. I then had to chase them to find out when had they collected his ashes. No service or compassion ar all.
