My mother in law moved in just over a year ago and we are really pleased with Abbeyfield House. The food is high quality and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. She is so much happier since the move and it has given us real peace of mind knowing that she has company and is well looked after. Her laundry is done for her and she has regular visits from a chiropodist and hairdresser. There are shops and a doctors’ surgery across the road plus lots of local amenities. There are opportunities for outings and regular activities within the house. All in all we are delighted that she made the move as she has kept her independence but now has the company that she was previously missing out on and no worries about maintaining her home. We have peace of mind as staff are on site from 9-6 with an on-call button overnight.

My Dad has been living in Abbeyfield House, Timberlog Lane for 15 years, and I can honestly say that he is looked after amazingly by staff and I have nothing but praise for the loving care and dedication shown by them all, all the residents are treated like family.

Abbeyfield Home is the the perfect accomodation in your later years. You have your own space/room with all facilities in a cozy warm environment. All meals are provided. Home cooked family style. Your laundry is also done for you. It’s perfect my parents lived here. 🩷🩵 Just live your life with out the pressure of running your own house. 🌷

Abbeyfield is so homely and the staff are so welcoming. I have a relative from there so I pop in quite often. It has such a family feel, I’ve never known a place so warm and friendly. All the residents are great fun to be around! 10/10 !
