I visit my Aunt on a weekly regular basis – initially when she first resided there, it was”appeared” to be Friendly, Clean and above board – Food looked good and the Carers seemed compassionate enough. Fast Forward 2yrs on (my Aunt will be a long term resident) and the Care has gone down CONSIDERABLY – Hands & Feet absolutely Filthy – Her face is never wiped clean from previous Meals, her Fingernails are full of Dirt and her Hair is Greasy on occasions, and that has to be paid for as extra to attend their in-house Hairdressers – My Aunts Room is in disarray ALL THE TIME with her clothes just “Thrown” into Drawers & Cupboards, never folded neatly. Her appearance is appalling which is very distressing to see, with what she is going through without her knowledge, this “Care” which is being given is utterly unacceptable – The staff need Re-Training for basic Hygiene Care for starters. There are a few Carers that I will say are very good – maybe the rest could learn from them!!!! I will take this further if conditions do not improve!
I come away from there EVERY visit and sit in my Car and Sob before I can drive away – this is not how a Relative should be feeling after visiting their loved ones who are supposed to be taken care of……

A warm, friendly and caring home with great staff. A good selection of activities for residents with freshly cooked food daily. Would highly recommend.

Having been a former carer in Primecare, I was horrified that my mother in law had no choice but to go there. I CAN HONESTLY SAY THE CARERS, SENIOR CARERS, KITCHEN STAFF, CLEANERS, THE MANAGEMENT, EVERYONE, EVERYONE FROM THE DAY MY MOTHER IN LAW ARRIVED, TREATED HER WITH COMPASSION, DIGNITY, PATIENCE. THE STANDARD OF CARE WAS SECOND TO NONE. AS A FORMER CARER I KNOW QUALITY WHEN I SEE IT .AT NO TIME DID WE FEEL CONCERNED. THE STAFF WERE EXTREMELY INFORMATIVE, NOT ONLY WHEN VISITING BUT ON THE PHONE ALSO. ALL STAFF BENT OVER BACKWARDS TO MAKE US FEEL WELCOME. THE HOME EVERY TIME WE VISITED WAS SPOTLESSLY CLEAN ,FLUIDS ACCESSIBLE, RESIDENTS ALL LOOKING CLEAN AND FRESH .JUST LISTENING TO THE INTERACTION BETWEEN STAFF AND RESIDENTS FILLED MY HEART WITH JOY . 😊 THANK YOU PRIMECARE. my nan was physically attacked by another resident whilst laying in bed in her own room within 1 week of being placed there. the man who attacked her has then been able to gain access to her room on multiple other occasions in under a week after the initial incident. the manager christina adenyini is an embarrassment and found it so funny she audibly laughed out loud. the staff are negligent and it is putting their vulnerable residents in physical danger.
