This is supposed to be a care home, No it is not. The place does not have many staff members and all they appear to do is clean and feed the patients. Their experience of administering medicines is lacking. I honestly expected more from this place. They are happy to let a patient die in their room.

My husband has just passed away after nearly 4 years at Gifford House. He has always been cared and looked after with kindness and dignity by the staff. He has always been kept clean and tidy, the staff have gone out of their way to be friendly and chatty. Nothing seems too much trouble for them. They made his stay there, his new home and my visits more bearable at a difficult time. Thankyou to you all.

My sister was only here for a short period of time, but she was looked after and loved the gardens, especially the water features. Annie was always really helpful. The only one thing is that the local doctor is from the Muree Medical Center who are utterly useless, avoid (Muree) if you can.

My Dad was here from 2018 to 2020. Lovely home with caring staff. Always made to feel very welcome and Dad always clean, well fed and looked after. Beautiful home with lovely gardens, hairdressers, coffee lounge etc all on site. Definitely recommend

Gifford House is an exceptional care home. It has been purpose built and designed totally with the residents needs in mind. The staff are dedicated and empathetic.
My mum is receiving end of care life and they are so mindful of the family ‘s needs as well. I can’t believe that a home of such value is availability to my mum who is of very limited financial resources. I hope the home and staff get recognition for their exemplary level of care and dedication
