People from Manor Mission Church visit this home once a month on the 2nd Monday of the month from 3pm.
Sometimes there is someone on reception who lets you in and then gets you to sign in on the e-book. Sometimes there are staff that tell you where to go but otherwise you make your own way.
Home is comfortable and the residents seem happy and communicate well. Residents get offered drinks regularly and even extra milkshakes on hot days. We have not been offered drinks when there.

My mother has moved to this home recently after having a terrible experience with another care home locally. With late stage alzheimers we have been impressed with the support we have received from staff with settling my mother. The home is clean, spacious and inviting, reasonably priced (for residential care) and the management have provided excellent support around self funding options. Food is good and care is person led. Engagement activities are developing as occupancy rises but staff do spend a good amount of time with residents to keep them engaged.

I couldn’t ask for a better home for my mum! The facilities are amazing in this purpose built care home, and my mum loves her room and all the wonderful friends she has made since her arrival. She has also gained over 2 kilos in the short time she has been here. However, the best part of this home is the staff…. They are kind, caring, professional and enjoy a good laugh with the residents…. For them it is not a job, but a vocation… the truly love what they do and it shows. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Brook Lodge to any family faced with the daunting task of finding a suitable home for their loved one.
