This year I got some amazing prescription sunglasses from The Optical Studio. Katrina sourced the thinnest available polarised lenses for my high prescription, in a colour that perfectly matches my chosen frames.

My regular eye exam was thorough, with everything being explained very clearly.
Needing a new prescription (the joys of getting older!) I received lots of help and advice when choosing my most recent frames. I ended up choosing frames of a completely different shape, size and colour from those that I had been wearing for several years and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. So happy that I have just ordered a second pair with Transitions lenses for when the sun makes more of an effort.
Rachel was also incredibly helpful in sorting out an issue with some damaged lenses in an older pair of specs.

I’ve worn glasses for as long as I can remember and its very important to me to have the best optician. The eye test here is the most thorough I’ve known which helps get the right lenses but what’s equally as important is the advice they give you on frames. Wearing glasses all the time means I see glasses a bit like a fashion item and the last 2 pairs I’ve had have been amazing – i loved them and everyone else loved them. All the people are professional but friendly too and remember who you are. An opticians that definitely deserves a 5 star rating.
