I was supposed to have an interview today at Woodstock Care Home in Gloucester, which was arranged by their HR department. I confirmed my appointment with a staff member named Patrick Slack the day before. However, when I arrived, the staff informed me that there was no interview scheduled for me. This situation was unprecedented for me and highlighted a significant communication gap. Although I wasn’t sure if I would get the job, I had prepared extensively, especially since this was my first interview after my pregnancy. I felt incredibly angry and disappointed.

Our lovely Mum spent the last few days of her life here after a sharp decline in her health following surgery.
We will be forever grateful to Trudy and her team who could not have done more for Mum, and for us in helping us through this awful time.
Every member of staff was so caring. Mum was kept comfortable and peaceful and was surrounded by kindness.
The food looked wonderful and the residents are happy and well cared for. The staff are positive, cheerful and professional.
We wish so much that we had found Woodstock sooner and we would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone looking for a caring and safe environment for their loved one for long or short term care.
