Stayed at The Kings Head last weekend for a couple of nights. The hotel is right in the middle of the town which is a great location to base yourself from. There is no parking at the hotel but parking is only a couple of minutes away. The hotel was very nice and the bar area was a very nice place to be.The local ales on tap were kept in good condition and there was a “buzzy” atmosphere all the times we walked through or stopped in. It is obviously well used by visitors and locals. The rooms were very good with all the facilities you would expect, the semi-accessible room was well appointed and very generous with its proportions. Staff were all very professional and polite.

My husband, Siberian husky and I had lunch at the Kings Head Cirencester two days in a row (15 and 16 June). We love the place. The feel when you walk in is very welcoming, there is a lovely atmosphere. It’s very roomy, with substantial choice of different seating areas. The staff are very welcoming, both days we were served by Audrey – who made us feel welcome, and was extremely helpful. The food was very good also, and the dog station with water bowls, water and dog biscuits is a lovely touch. Our husky certainly enjoyed both water and biscuits. We definitely will come back, and recommend the Kings Head very highly.

We had afternoon tea at The Kings Head in Cirencester for a special birthday with a group of 11, it was a great experience from start to finish. Booking was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful on the phone beforehand.
On arrival, we received a lovely warm welcome, and everything was well organised for our large group. The food was delicious, with a great selection and beautifully presented. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and there were plenty of compliments about both the food and the service.
Thank you to the Riley & team for making our afternoon so enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

We had the most wonderful stay here to celebrate my wife’s 30th birthday. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail and level of service was seamless. The team went above and beyond to make sure our children and dogs were well looked after too, which made the whole trip stress-free and enjoyable.
The rooms were spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and very spacious. We also hired the downstairs private dining cellar for a party of 16, and the food was absolutely wonderful, fresh, tasty, and perfectly cooked.
A truly memorable celebration. We’ll definitely be back

We had a wonderful experience and a huge part of that was our waiter Audrey. She was absolutely exceptional attentive, warm, and made the whole meal feel effortless. The food was fantastic too, every dish was delivious. We especially have to mention the pear dessert that Audrey recommended to us which was an absolute highlight and one we wouldn’t have ordered without her suggestion. We will 100% be coming back. Highly recommend!
