What an incredible venue! We are so glad we chose Old Gore when my wife and I got married last year. Every member of the team was helpful and communicative from the start. Nothing was too much, even our request to spend two minutes together before the ceremony to calm our nerves whilst still not seeing each other until the aisle. The building was perfect for the wedding we wanted, and the food was unmatched. Many of our guests had nothing but compliments for the food and the venue. You are definitely in safe hands here; we’d recommend to anyone!

Our venue was stunning and the whole experience with Old Gore was outstanding. The barn is the perfect mix of indoors and outdoors with cosy and beautiful areas throughout. The flow of the venue is amazing and every section fit the vibe of our day perfectly. The fire pits and fairy lights in the evening were a real winner for us. The flower wheels in the ceremony were stunning and dancing under the disco ball was great fun!
We had Emily as our venue coordinator and we did not have to worry about a single thing from start to finish. We had multiple calls and meetings with the team beforehand and this took all the stress away because I completely trusted that everything was in hand. They have everything covered at the venue with food, bar, and staff. Having everything under one team was great and the team were so accommodating that the day still felt uniquely ours. They coordinated seamlessly with our additional vendors and handled every request with ease. The food was delicious and there was so much of it that our guests were never hungry. The evening pizzas were brilliant too. Everyone was raving about Baz and Fred and we even had extra pizzas to take home.
One of the absolute highlights, other than Delores the disco ball of course, was the staff. They were impeccable. Everyone was so friendly and nothing was ever too much. The team helped set up the day, transformed each room throughout with our decorations and made sure everything looked perfect. We adore Emily and cannot thank her enough for everything she did. In the evening she handed over to the night team who did a wonderful job and even tidied everything up. When we arrived the next morning to collect our things, everything was neatly placed and ready for us to load into the car.
Thank you to the whole Old Gore team. It was the best day and the venue was such a huge part of what made it so memorable, gorgeous and easy to enjoy. We would 100% recommend to everyone!

Though delayed, we couldn’t not leave a shining review for the incredible venue that is Old Gore. It was the first, (and only) venue we needed to visit before our mind was made up that it was the place for us. The whole ethos of the team and company sold it for us (as well as the most spectacular food!).
It’s the most beautiful wedding venue, with gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces that created the perfect backdrop for our day. Even with the risk of rain, it still makes the perfect setting for a wedding.
Emily, our wedding coordinator, was exceptional from start to finish as our primary contact throughout (from our first visit, to picking up our left over wine the day after!) She was efficient, organised, fun and such a calming presence throughout the entire planning process. The quick responses to queries (from the whole team), updates and check-ins made everything feel effortless. We were lucky to have the addition of lovely Polly on the day and she was a welcomed addition. Emily and Polly she kept the whole day flowing seamlessly. No request was ever too much trouble, and they helped us build a truly personalised day that felt completely “us.”
The food was incredible, cooked over fire pits with a view straight into the kitchen, which added such a unique touch. The relaxed vibe, combined with the amazing quality of the food, made the whole experience feel special and authentic.
Our guests haven’t stopped talking about how stunning the venue was and how polite, kind, and attentive the staff were.
We genuinely couldn’t have asked for anything more from the whole team at Old Gore, thank you. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed and personal, yet professional wedding experience.

We honestly have no words – our wedding at Old Gore was, without a doubt, the best day of our lives. It was everything we dreamed of and more. We’re still completely buzzing and can’t stop smiling every time we think about it. From start to finish, the whole day ran so seamlessly thanks to the incredible Old Gore team, who made everything feel effortless and stress-free.
From the very first time we visited, we knew Old Gore was the one. We always imagined an autumn wedding, and Old Gore just embodies that warm, rustic Cotswolds magic perfectly. The moment we saw the log burners glowing, the cosy lighting, and the gorgeous countryside surroundings, we knew we had to have an October celebration there. It was everything we hoped for – full of warmth, atmosphere, and that relaxed-yet-luxurious charm that makes Old Gore so special.
The food was absolutely outstanding – honestly the best we’ve ever had at any wedding. Every dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about how incredible it was since the day itself. The drinks were just as impressive – from the perfectly crafted cocktails to the fantastic range behind the bar, everything was spot on. The bar staff were friendly, energetic, and kept the good vibes flowing all night.
A huge thank you to Alex, who was beyond incredible from start to finish. The communication throughout the whole planning process was exceptional – clear, kind, and always reassuring. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we always felt completely supported. On the day itself, Alex and the team made everything run like clockwork so we could just relax and soak up every moment.
Old Gore was, without question, our number one choice – and it exceeded every single expectation. The venue, the food, the team, the atmosphere – everything came together perfectly to create the most unforgettable day. It truly felt like a reflection of us, which is all we ever wanted.
We’re already talking about how we’d love to do it all over again. We can’t wait to come back soon for one of the Feast Nights to relive a little bit of the magic and see everyone again.
