Awful service, communication and the final bill was over double the quotation for a simple transaction with few issues. Be very careful if you select this company for your conveyancing.

I’ve had to involve the legal ombudsman. The firm even failed to responded to my formal complaint. I only revived a reply after the involvement of the ombudsman six months following my complaint.

Please read all of the reviews before you even consider picking the the phone up to get in contact with the complete and utter shambles, that is Alison Fielden & co.

I lost my house due to the neglect and lack of personal attention. I initially connected Alison Fielden & Co to take on my case. The case in question was very simple, a relationship had turned sour and I needed to keep my home. Seems pretty straight forwarded doesn’t it? Dee which works for Alison Fielden & Co then get into contact with me and assured me I wouldn’t lose my home. Now due to her lack of competence and constant changes of file handler meant in fact I did lose my home and this was just the start of it. Communication is none existent, expect it to take hours out of your day just trying to get through to a “solicitor”. Stages with this firm would progress quickly, unfortunately you are the last person to know that stage 1 is now at stage 10 and they need paper work from your self back yesterday, so expect to be expected to drop everything for their incompetence.

Then it comes to the topic of money and invoices. At this point blood pressure is through the roof and then they drop a bomb shell of the past 6 + months worth of invoices on you and tell you that you have 28 days pay them all. All solicitors are expensive and love to rob a living, and I wouldn’t mind paying for a service that I was receiving, however there was work on these invoices that never happened, or took place because if it I would still have my home.

So please if anyone is personally considering to give this firm a task or case then please think carefully. Do your research and go elsewhere because it could end up costing you your home or a family member, friend or colleague their home. I cannot express that enough these guys are professional fraudsters and only care about one thing and that is getting your money into their pockets.
