I took a pair of 4 year old Phonak hearing aids, bought elsewhere for some £3000, into the Marlborough shop this morning, and asked them if they would look at a problem. I was told that they would only examine them if I signed up for a care package costing several hundred pounds. All I wanted was them to examine them and tell me what work was required, and if it was worth doing.
I shall not be using this business.
