This is called a retirement village. It’s more like a luxury Mediterranean hotel. I was blown away with all of it. I’m definitely moving in, just looking at all the options. I can’t wait to move in!

Each time I have visited there is a friendly welcome from reception and staff are happy to help you find who you need. The residents I have met are happy and feel well supported. The activities programme has something for everyone which helps to keep people active and engaged. The rooms and communal areas appear clean and comfortable. I would recommend Richmond Villages to family and friends without reservation.

Five stars from me!
I don’t usually write reviews, but I really wanted to say how impressed I’ve been with Richmond Village Cheltenham. From the very first visit, it had such a warm and welcoming feel. The staff are lovely—always friendly, helpful, and genuinely seem to care about the people who live there.
The place itself is beautiful—really well looked after, peaceful, and with a great mix of things going on. The facilities are excellent too, with a fantastic restaurant, and loads of activities and events to get involved in if you want to.
It doesn’t have the feel of a retirement establishment and the people who live there all seem friendly and relaxed.
Highly recommended.

My mother recently moved into Richmond Village, Cheltenham and the experience has been outstanding from day one. The staff are exceptionally helpful and genuinely friendly, always going out of their way to make residents feel welcome, safe, and cared for.
There’s a fantastic range of daily activities to keep everyone engaged, and weekly trips out that my mother really looks forward to. She’s been attending the morning exercise classes with Tom, not normally an exercise enthusiast but he makes them fun and appropriate for her age. It’s great to see her being active and involved.
She’s also made friends easily, as the other residents have been incredibly warm and welcoming. The home itself is set within immaculate gardens, providing a peaceful and beautiful environment.
The accommodation is spotless, and it’s a real comfort knowing that all cleaning and laundry are completely taken care of. Mum enjoys three freshly prepared meals each day, with the flexibility to dine in the lovely on-site restaurant or have meals brought to her apartment if she prefers a quieter setting.
A real highlight for family visits is the stunning rooftop terrace—a perfect spot to relax and spend quality time together.
We couldn’t be happier with the care and quality of life Mum is receiving at Richmond Village. It has given us peace of mind and given her a wonderful new chapter.
