Barchester – Badgeworth Court Care Home

We cannot thank the team at Badgeworth Court Care Centre enough for the outstanding care our mother, Peggy Dyer, received during her stay.

In Mum’s final days, every member of staff—from the nursing and care team to housekeeping and administration—showed genuine kindness, compassion, and respect. She was cared for with dignity and comfort throughout, and we will always be grateful for the love and support she received.

We were continually impressed by the professionalism, knowledge, and understanding of everyone involved in her care. It was also reassuring to see such close collaboration between the doctor and the wider team, ensuring Mum’s needs were always met.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed as part of a caring family. During a very difficult time, our views and wishes were always listened to and respected, giving us complete confidence and trust in the home and the people caring for Mum.

The care Mum received went far beyond our expectations. Knowing she was in such compassionate and capable hands brought us enormous comfort and peace of mind.

The manager Rosalynn and her care staff showed a high level of compassion and attentiveness while looking after our father in his final months. Their professionalism throughout his stay was exemplary and provided our family with a high level of assurance that our father was being looked after. We appreciated the kindness many of the caregivers showed and the effort they made to keep him comfortable. While losing him has been incredibly difficult, we are grateful for the support our family received during a very emotional time.”

We as a family have received excellent support and care from Badgeworth Court and Barchester since Dad moved in recently.  When I first visited the care home, all the staff were very supportive and provided great support with the overall process of Dad moving in, including helping with the Financial side through to choosing a room.  Dad moved in initially for 2 weeks on respite to make sure it was the right place for him, and during those 2 weeks all the staff made him feel very welcome and part of the family there.  He now lives there on a permanent basis and loves his room.  All meals are cooked fresh by the catering team onsite, and he loves the choice of the nutritious meals each day.  There are plenty of activities that he can join in with each day which includes trips out to local attractions.  All the staff are lovely and are always happy to help with anything, with nothing too much trouble. They keep me fully updated of any medical updates. Thank you to Rosalynn, Faye, Michelle, Deborah, Somi and the rest of the team at Badgeworth Court and Barchester who has helped and supported us through a very tough period, and their ongoing continued support.
