My mother was placed here by the NHS and died on her second night there. I was told I could go to reception to collect her things but upon arrival I was told they were still in her room. Her belongings were scattered across the room and a bottle of her perfume was missing. The staff denied any knowledge of the perfume but it was gone! They then proceeded to try and charge my grieving father an extortionate amount for her two nights stay. None of the staff could speak fluent English and nobody in an authoritative position was available.

Appalling care. I visited twice and patients ignored and just all sat starring into space in a soul destroying environment. Staff unhelpful and unfriendly! Depressing. Rooms not looked after. Miserable place

My husband was only at Nazareth House for a short time before he died. The staff are lovely and caring. We received a very warm friendly welcome and were made to feel part of the family when we could eventually visit having recovered from Covid.
The staff did their very best for my husband to make him feel at home, but he really didn’t want to be in care anywhere else but at home with me and our son. Sadly by that time it just wasn’t possible. We were kept ‘in the loop’ at all times re my husband’s declining health and he was made as comfortable as he could possibly be until he passed away from a chest infection.

I’m very happy with my father’s care at Nazareth House. The staff are very caring, meal times are lovely and my father is treated with kindness and respect.
