Our parents were admitted for respite care during the first Covid-19 lockdown in 2020 It was a very stressful time, particularly as my sister and were living 100 miles away. From our first interactions, we were hugely impressed by the professionalism and care shown to us all and reassured that our parents would be in loving hands. They soon decided to make it their permanent home and in the years that followed, the staff at FH became a big extended family to us, responding to their changing care needs, supporting us through our father’s final days in early 2025 and thereafter helping our mother navigate the next phase of her life without him, ensuring she felt safe and comfortable in spite of her advancing dementia until she too passed away in October of that year. It’s impossible to express how grateful we are to everyone at FH
We feel so fortunate to have found such a wonderful care home.

We have been simply delighted with Breda’s care since she moved into Lilian Faithfull House 9 months ago. Without exception everyone has been friendly and caring, no ask is too much and it’s particularly touching to see how staff often go above and beyond – in their own time where necessary. Word of mouth got us to LFH via their Secret Garden, a separate but equally impressive organisation. I can’t think mum would be happier, more content and better looked after anywhere else
